For the past three years, East Bay EDA has led the Resilient East Bay initiative, highlighting how the region’s manufacturing legacy has provided the foundation for the dynamic and thriving industrial innovation ecosystem that defines many parts of the East Bay.

Throughout this work, East Bay EDA and other regional partners have recognized the importance of retaining and developing industrial lands, which play an important role in inclusive economic development, by allowing a region to create quality manufacturing jobs, source its materials locally, and retain its economic diversity.
